Just Good Furniture offer a wide range of chest of drawers in many different sizes and styles. We also have chests with different numbers of drawers - from two drawers to seven. Chest of Drawers
Chest of drawers come in all shapes and sizes today and can be manufactured in contemporary materials such as steel, mirrored glass or synthetics. However, you can still find a very large selection of chests made from traditional solid woods such as Ash, Oak, Birch or Walnut.
Chests will fluctuate in size and height and will also offer a differing number of drawers. Chests are sometimes tall with one drawer on each row, all of equal sizes. Whilst other chests may be wider and have more drawers on the top rows, with a singular larger and deeper drawer towards the bottom. Due to the wide variety available, you will be able to choose a chest to match your storage needs.
Chests of drawers and their uses
As a serviceable and versatile piece of furniture, they can be used in many rooms around the home including the bedroom, living room, dining room or hallway. They can be used for storing clothes and accessories in the bedroom. In the living room, they may store items such as CDs, DVDs or console games. In the
dining room they may be utilised for keeping table linens in; for example table clothes, table runners and napkins, along with other items such as cutlery sets or accessories such as candles and candlesticks.
In the hallway they may double up as a console table and be used for storing items such as keys, whilst also holding the telephone.
The flat upper surface of a chest of drawers can also be used to hold decorative items such as vases of flowers, ornaments, collections or family photographs.
