Bedsteads and beds can form the main focal point of a bedroom, whether it be a three foot single bed, a four foot six inch double bed or a five foot kingsize bed. Bespoke beds can also be created to fit awkward room shapes and to allow maximum use of the accessible space. Bunk beds and twin beds are available to enable more than one person to sleep comfortably in a room and raised beds with a seating, play or desk area below make good use of the space in a smaller bedroom.
Beds and bedsteads are usually the largest piece of furniture within a bedroom and may therefore become the focal point of the room.
